Smirk Cosmetics, a self-directed project, is an all natural, eco-friendly product, but without the boring packaging. Lotion to lipgloss, Smirk keeps all faces in mind when creating its products, which are gentle on your skin, while adding a little flash and shimmer.
The focus in designing Smirk was to try mixing typography. I wanted to use a playful, yet classic serif mixed with a hand-drawn loose character. I wanted the typography to be bold enough to stand on its own as a logo.
